Aili is a Japanese-Belgian duo consisting of Aili Maruyama and Orson Wouters. They make danceable post-punk that owes as much to Can as to new labels like Bongo Joe. In 2021 their first EP came out on Belgian label Eskimo, who have also worked with Curses on the Next Wave Acid Punx project. Aili appeared on the second volume that came out at the end of last year, with the hit “Dansu”. Their debut LP Nandakke? consists of 10 new tracks and check out the video for “Fashion” above.
