Harsh Symmetry turned up on our radar last year when Display Model came out. Since then Julian Sharwarko has moved from Sacramento to Los Angeles and honed the sound (blending new romantics and coldwave) even more. Second album Imitation is also out on Fabrika – the Greek label run by Selofan. Its 9 tracks makes me think of Riki and make me very excited to visit Grauzone next month, which is part of Harsh Symmetry’s upcoming euro tour.
