The Pets was a Venezuelan rock group from the 60s inspired by the great British and American groups of the decade. They released only one single and one record – the 1968 album The Pets on Discomoda. It has since become highly collectible and I’ve been looking for it for years – particularly for the fuzzed out version of The Doors’ “Hello I Love You”.
Last month Spanish label Munster finally gave the album a new release on vinyl, remastered from the original tapes. No bonus track, no funny business, just a great album.
