One of the most interesting gigs of the year was seeing CIA Debutante play a small backroom of a bar in Malmö earlier this year. The Parisian duo have been friends of the site for a while so it was great to meet in person. I failed to pick up a copy of their latest album, and also failed to mentioned it here, but here goes. Down, Willow came out on the revered Siltbreeze label last spring and is definitely their best work so far. It’s also the main project of Nathan Roche at the moment (after a solo release last year).
