We stay in Oakland to talk about the debut self-titled EP from powerpop group The Goods, headed up by Rob Good. Good worked a lot with Cocktails, whom we used to love and recently he’s also been playing in Sob Stories. They released and an album on local Oakland label Dandy Boy last year and now the turn has befallen The Goods. Basically a solo vessel for Good, he’s joined by drummer Paul Wiseman on these 4 tracks that bring to mind Velvet Crush and other classic groups.
