Flex the Music Group was a collaboration between Hannah D’Amato (Fake Fruit) and Rob Miller (Blues Lawyer) making homemade disco out of Oakland. Their Whisper Swish EP came out on Domestic Departure over a year ago and it’s been lost in tab on my phone forever. But I still wanted to tell you about it since a few distros still have copies and these 6 tracks are essential – every bit as great as the LP their friends in Naked Roommate recorded. (Alejandra Alcala of Blue Lawyer was in that group.)
