While trawling through the end-of-year lists from others I came across this Hungarian group on bandcamp’s own list. Pletyka is a Budapest trio and their very first demo came out almost a year ago. Their witchy post-punk makes me think of Aus but also the Balm LP that came out on Mangel recently. Their Demó only contains four originals and a Wire cover but that’s more than enough to make me want to hear more. It came out locally on the Szégyen Kazetták label.
