Seeing the London duo Rat Section live was probably one of my highlights of the year. They played in a micro cinema in Malmö, with half of the rows turned around to make a stage in the centre. Since then I’ve been keeping en eye out for a release from them and here is a new album called What Stays In Vegas. Out on the excellent little label Halcyon Veil, these 8 tracks from Ratty Sleigh Johnny and Soopi is a great entry point into their production and performance-led music.
