Here’s a tasty treat from Tresor Records in the shape of a new Silent Servant 12″. Juan Mendez who is Silent Servant has been DJing for three decades and was a part of the British techno label Sandwell District, which was founded in 2002. It’s not often he releases music these days and In Memoriam is his only release of 2023.
With these 4 new tracks he “pays tribute” to early Detroit techno and electro, Belgian EBM and the wave music, Berlin’s dub techno sound, and the harder UK sound around 2000. At least that’s what Tresor say, and they should know.
