Serge Geyzel is a Russian Berlin-based producer who has been busy this year. He put out an album on Pulse State at the beginning of the year, followed by a 12″ on Brokntoys – one of my favourite London labels. While As Fallen Leaves was a beautifully laidback 6-track breakbeat opus, last month’s Airplanes In My Dreams EP was decidedly heavier. The 12″ dropped on Italian label New Flesh and looks to be outperformed by his upcoming release on Mechatronica. Ready? is coming in December with another 6 tracks of acid and electro.
