Poly Chain is the moniker of Sasha Zakrevska from Ukraine, currently based in Berlin. Her sound took a new direction around 2020, when she also released a split-EP with Nene H. She released a great mini-album around last Christmas called Fairy Disco and this year has already seen two great EPs. One one Italian label Funclub and now this one on Mechatronica. The 6-track 12″ called SMART-155 is a deep-dive into a cold hardware-driven sound with heavy breakbeats and futuristic soundscapes.
