Naarm label A Colourful Storm, who’ve previously worked with people like Maxine Funke, have recently put out a longform explorative LP by London’s Valentina Magaletti. La Tempesta Colorata is the title of the 45-minute percussion opus, which brings back fond memories of her performance at Intonal festival last spring, in the imposing St Johannes church.
She playing tomorrow at Le Guess Who? today, together with Marta Salogni. And last week her new album with Better Corners came out on The state51 Conspiracy. It’s the second part of her collaboration with Sarah Register and Matthew Simms of Wire.
