Civic from Naarm have come a long way from their humble beginnings. It was one of the bands I enjoyed seeing the most while there and I later got the chance to catch them in Europe as well. They put out their second album earlier this year and I felt bad that we hand’t featured it. It’s such a great record and I was listening to it again today. Taken By Force is an 11-track LP available from US label ATO. But Civic also have a new LP out which is a reissue of New Vietnam (their very first record) plus early singles. This one is out on trusty old Anti Fade as of yesterday.

Really love their cover of classic 60s Oz nugget “Wars Or Hands of Time”.
