As you know we’ve been obsessing over DeathbyRomy for a while now, with several inclusions on our monthly playlist. All the while, waiting for a physical release from the Los Angeles artist. While last year’s mini-album Entropy was nice it felt like the wrong direction for her. Romy Flores, who’s been performing since the age of 15, has been reliant on working with different producers and has also voiced not being completely satisfied with past work. On the contrary, “Saint” seems to spark a new pride in DeathbyRomy and is also the strongest song released through the project since “Day I Day”.
DeathbyRomy is playing in Europe immenently, supporting Grandson in Scandinavia – but I’m only going to shout along to “Saint”.
