Eartheater, or Alexandra Drewchin, has taken her time recording a new album. Phoenix came out in 2020 and already on her last tour she was playing new material. After announcing not one but two new albums, it’s clear that the intervening singles are not a part them. First out is Powder, available from Chemical X next week, followed by a short European tour. Copenhagen is the second stop I for one will be there. The singles show the same fusion of folk, triphop and club sounds that we heard on “Mitosis” which was on our Apple Turnover playlist last year.
