The Marquis Is Dead, formerly known as The Marquis, has released records on labels like aufnahme+wiedergabe. With the new project he’s appeared on the new Soil comp and now has a tape out on X-Img. Dillon Steele is the name of the producer behind the moniker and he’s originally from Montreal, now in Paris. With the Malaür EP, he delivers 3 new tracks (one of which also features Prophän) plus 3 remixes. This is dark industrial music, not a far cry from Nine Inch Nails, but with more electronic elements.
