I just missed Sharizza when I was in Berlin in the beginning of summer. Sadly it clashed with another event, but I would have loved to see their gig at Villa Kuriosum. Sharizza, also known as Fanny Franzen, has previously played in Leipzig bands Telesatan and Hot Chicks. The Hot Sauce album was released on tape by Turbo Discos earlier this year and is a great collection of 9 tracks of off-kilter punk and weirdness.
