Comfort Cure is the project of Tyler Baker from Detroit. He released a great EP on Detroit Industrial earlier this year and then had a video premiere on The Brvtalist. The track “Last Thing” is from Comfort Cure’s first album and it came out on cassette via DKA in June. Like us, the Atlanta label fell in love with his dirty EBM-fuelled sound. It doesn’t sound retro though, Design / International is is electro that keeps it fresh and the vocals don’t even bother me.
