Baltimore group The Smashing Times have a new LP out in October, exactly one year on from Bloom. This Sporting Life, as the new album is called, is coming out on Perennial Death who also released the Almond Joy EP. It’s an Olympia label and this is actually a co-release with K just like the Ribbon Stage album. The Smashing Times stick to their template of jangly pop on these 15 tracks, rounded out by “Monday, In a Small Dull Town” that recently came out as a single through IPU.
