Mary Jane Dunphe might not be a name familiar to everyone, but if we mention groups like Vexx, Pinocchio, CC Dust and CCFX you’re sure to be listening. After all these projects, Dunphe has finally recorded a solo album. It’s called Stage of Love and is coming out on Pop Wig Records at the end of the month. Judging by the preview tracks it’s going to be big pop record, with one foot firmly planted in the DIY underground. Based in New York, she has recorded these 11 tracks with a cast of guest musicians including e.g. Ben Greenberg (Uniform, Sacred Bones).
