Feu Follet is the result of Paris label Grande Rousse Disques taking stock of its first five years of existence. I hadn’t heard to them until I found the Le diable dégoûtant track from this compilation. The label exists in a liminal space between electronic, experimental and avantgarde pop and is home to intriguing artists like Megaviolet (with whom they released a tape earlier this year), Mélodie Blaison and Sopoorific. All in all, there are 18 contributions on this tape that refuses to be boxed in.
