Society is the solo project of Sims Harding of Philly bands Mesh and Toe Ring. Last year his first tape came out on Spared Flesh and now the Portland label have released a mini album from Society called Social Flies. It’s great little 8-track tape that sold out soon after it’s release last month, with nods to Poison Ruin and perhaps Post Present Medium bands like Gen Pop (the latter’s Ian Corrigan appears on one of the tracks here).
