Advertisement is the Seattle band who self-released their debut during the height of the pandemic and surprisingly turned a bunch of heads. It was something as unusual as an old-school rock record inspired by Television, glam, and yes, Crazy Horse. For their follow-up Escorts that is out on Feel It in September, the ex-hardcore musicians have gathered 12 tracks recorded in LA with Mike Kriebel (of legendary Beat Sessions fame). Borrowing some of the pop sensibility of Ty Segall and the idiosyncrasies of Roxy Music, this album is another unexpected turn for the band.
