Abyss X released her amazing debut album Innuendo in 2020 and since then the wait has been long for a follow-up. In September we will finally receive Freedom Doll, the second LP from the Berlin-based artist from Crete. Coming out on AD 93, the 10-track album features Juliana Huxtable and was partly recorded during an artist residency near the Mayan jungle in Mexico. In their own words, the record encapsulates the Minoan woman – “the elusive harlequin tiptoeing her way through the ‘circus of terror’ that is living and loving her way through womanhood”.
