Läuten der Seele is the side project of Christian Schoppik who is also one half of German band Brannten Schnüre. Lately, this project has seen a lot of activity however – all since the first album came out little over a year ago. Ertrunken Im Seichtesten Gewässer is his third full-length and is divided into two long collages. Each one consists of four parts, named after things like stone, drops, moon and letters. It’s a beautiful collection with a strong sense of place.
