Peace de Résistance is the solo project of Moses Brown from Austin, who used to play in the great Sacred Bones-signed Institute. More recently he’s been in the excellent hardcore group Glue. Last year he released the 10-track album Bits and Pieces – recorded completely by himself and cut for the made-up Peace De Records. It just got a reissue from UK label La vida es un mus and I have to admit it’s an intriguing mix of glam, punk and a self-professed love for Zambian rock. It also includes a cover of 70s Ethiopian artist Hailu Mergia.
