Illusion of Choice is a new benefit compilation from the Minnesota label Girlsville. The point is to gather funds for a cat shelter called Feline Rescue and 11 artists have contributed with music, including Sweeping Promises whom we just wrote about. They do a great version of “Egyptian Shumba” by The Tammys and Star Party opt to cover Blondie. Curiously there’s also a new track from 90s group The Darling Buds who reformed a few years ago.
