God Is War is the artist name adopted by the stunningly productive LA-based Mackenzie Chami. He has already released two albums this year – one a cassette on Phage Tapes. And in May a new 12″ EP is coming out on UK label Industrial Coast – the label’s first on vinyl no less. Yakuza consists of four tracks named “Entrance” 1 through 4 and has been available digitally for a while. It’s an experimental collection of electronic noise, industrial beats and oscillating synths.
