Advoids is a new punk group from Los Angeles sporting members of The Freakees and Diode. Their first EP just came out on cassette on Urge Records – a label that’s practically on fire at the moment. These 5 songs seem to come out of nowhere, filled with ingenuity, frustration and attitude. Balancing between no wave, Devo-core and LA punk this group seemingly has it all and is up there with that mind-boggling Toyota record.
