RECORD TURNOVER 80s HITS #157
Lack of Knowledge was a post-punk group from the north of London. According to discogs they formed in the summer of 1978 and split up in 1986, after releasing just one album on Crass’ imprint Corpus Christi. Last year Crass Records reissued (together with One Little Independent) the Grey 12″ from 1983. In 2005 Southern Records also put out a cd that gathers both the album and the 12″.
But the band’s first outing was actually a self-released 45 that has now been given the reissue treatment by US label Floating Mill. Their tape version of “The Uninvited” also features an unreleased track recorded even earlier.
