Women Life Freedom is the title of a new benefit compilation from Berlin label Deestricted. Of course, the struggle in Iran has been going on for long now but it’s still just as gruelling. The 21-track digital compilation was curated together with label owner and resident at Grelle Forelle in Austria, Aida Arko. It including many Iranian artists, such as Hræfn and Farnaz. Also helping out, are Stine Francina (here with Pulses), Grace Dahl, Lee Ann Roberts and of course Aida Arko. The set was released on international women’s day with an event at about:blank that featured many Iranian all-FLINTA djs on the lineup.
