For some reason I crossed paths with The Nixe from Utrecht online before going to The Hague. I can’t remember how now, but I want to share this 1981 release from the Dutch punk group formed by four women. Listening to The Nixe EP on Rock Against Records it’s easy to draw comparisons to Kleenex, but they have something unique too. Many years later, in 2008, a compilation of their entire recorded output appeared on Polly Maggoo Records.
