The Whiffs from Kansas City are, believe it or not, back with a third album. Rivalling Joey Montaro’s other band The Rubs for the title of best current powerpop group, they’re upping their game with Scratch ‘N’ Sniff. The 13-track LP is out on Dig! Records just over a month from now and three perfect singles have been released so far. Just like Teenage Fanclub, they have two guitarists and one bass player all contributing songs to the project.
