Legless is the name of the label founded by Arron Mawson who plays in Stiff Richards. Based in Rye on the peninsula east of Melbourne, Mawson has started a number new bands lately, one which is Doe St. The name comes from the street from where the label has its address. After releasing a charming debut at the beginning of the year, which smelt of lo-fi groups like Bitch Prefect and Woollen Kits, their new single “The Old Guard” came out a few months ago. Coupled with a cover of The Saints on the flip, it’s a fitting tribute to Chris Bailey who passed in spring 2022.
