Shadowplay, no doubt named after the Joy Division song, was the solo project of German artist Michael Scholz. Scholz played in a number of different bands, such as Killed By Deathrock luminaries Taste of Decay. The lone Shadowplay album Another Autumn Day came out on cassette label Individual Pop in 1988. Earlier this year it was reissued (once again on tape) as the first release of new Sydney label Low Ambition. The 9 tracks have been fleshed out with three unreleased demos and lo and behold, it’s still available.
