Bukaroo Bank is the name of Mauskovic Dance Band’s sophomore album. It came out last month but was actually recorded in-between lockdowns in 2020. After this the group’s founder Nicola Niggebrugge went solo as Nicolini, but the band is still an integral part of the Dutch scene as the group that ties together Jacco Gardner, Altin Gün, Baby’s Berserk and others. The album feels more experimental, as it goes off on a On-U tangent and celebrates their hero Lee Scratch Perry.
