Lars Finberg’s long-running project The Intelligence is back with a new LP. The album is called Lil’ Peril and came out on his own label Vapid Moonlighting just over a month ago. Finberg goes into some jazz and dub territories on some the 9 tracks, adding saxophone to the otherwise easily recognisable sound his twangy guitar. “Portfolio Woes” in a way also harks back to the more experimental lofi beginnings of the group. The opening track starts of the with the same kind of cheap Casio sounds that you could hear on Boredom and Terror.
