It’s amazing to look back on the summer and getting to see Benin collective Star Feminine Band play Roskilde festival. It was a performance that consisted of both dancing, music and singing – everything with a clear political message. After leaving their country for the first time to play a festival in France during the pandemic, they also took the opportunity to record a second album. Once again released by Paris label Born Bad, In Paris is 10 tracks full vitality and passion – sung in French, English and their own local language.
