Maud Geffray is a French musician and DJ who has also worked extensively with cinema soundtracks. I first discovered her with the EP she did for Rebeka Warrior’s label last year. It was a joy to hear “Moonshine” blasting from a distant speaker at the PLX festival last summer. Before that she returned with her second album Ad Astra on Pan European. The 12-track LP came out in May and features Rebeka Warrior and a number of other guest vocalists. The music is electronic pop with a hefty dose of eurodisco.
