It’s almost been three years since Dublin singer-songwriter Aoife Nessa Frances released the acclaimed debut LP Land of No Junction. But next week her sophomore effort Protector is coming out on the Brooklyn/London label Partisan Records. The 8-track LP was recorded in the countryside and finished in Dublin, with strings added in Glasgow. You can check out three of these majestic songs now, as well as two videos. The arrangements are really special, making me think of The Clientele.
