Colombian producer and singer Ana Gartner has been featured on a number of great electronic compilations before issuing her second album Mercurio Rosa on the Mexican label Illegal Alien Records last summer. The EBM/synth-influenced 9-track record came out on double 10″ vinyl as well as tape and just a few months later local Colombian label Pildoras Tapes presented a new EP. Called Electric Shocks, it came out just a week ago, with 5 new tracks and 4 remixes. I particularly like the reworkings by Ravetop and Andrea Paz.
