Marxist Love Disco Ensemble is a new band from Bologna who makes 70s-inspired disco and funk. Their only member seems to be guy called Paolo and MLDE is their very first release, coming to us via Mr Bongo in a couple of weeks. It’s an 8 track LP (with two digital bonus tracks) that echoes 80s artist like Orange Juice or A Certain Ratio. You can hear three tracks on their bandcamp, some which also reminds me a bit of Brijean.
