Cate Kennan is an experimental composer from Los Angeles. Two years ago she appeared on a compilation from Post Present Medium and she recently announced the release of her debut album The Arbitrary Dimension of Dreams on the same label in October. The new single “Sundial” differs from her compilation track in its use of acoustic instruments along with electronics. The label cites early predecessors like Deux Filles, but there is also an obvious inspiration from film scores in these 12 tracks.
