Mama Snake’s label Amniote is back with another release, or capsule as she prefers to call it, that is once again testimony to the label’s extremely high levels of ambition. Not only do they present a wealth of 17 tracks from Australian producers here – the capsule also includes a 12″ with 4 tracks from one of the contributing artists. That’s Hasvat Informant, but who appears here under the alias Intellegama. In fact all participating artists have invented a pseudonym for this release, so e.g. we have Tangerine performing as Agæmna and Different Shades as Axolotl.
The compilations spans many genres and a share of the profits are donated to Black Rainbow who work for positive health and wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBQTI+SB. The 12″ is available from One Eye Witness.
