Sophie Weil from Los Angeles released the marvellously intimate and introspective album Fontanelle just before the pandemic hit. As her alter ego Syko Friend, she’s been making music on her guitar for several years – in an early Scout Niblett kind of way. Not she’s back on Post Present Medium with her new album The Code. The 11-track record is out in a couple of weeks and you can listen to two of the tracks now.
