The French producer Emma DJ is back on New York label L.I.E.S. with a full-length album. On Melon Siesto you’ll get 9 idiosyncratic tracks of mind-warped electro and experimental stuff that’s hard to classify. The label calling it “dance not dance” is about as good a description as any. The album came out a week ago and is just about one of the best records this side of spring.
