After a cancelled European tour, Melbourne group The Stroppies instead present their third longplayer Levity. The album came out on Tough Love last month and consists of 10 new tracks to appease fans of their lo-fi pop. Claudia Serfaty from the group says that: “the world feels strange and in turn making pop music feels even stranger. A healthy dose of levity had to be employed in order to find meaning in the process.” Levity has a different sound as a result of being created in a different way, with songs taking a long time to form, and also together with new member Zoe Monk (of Eggy).
