Uruguayan artist and producer Lila Tirando a Violeta has released a new album, once again through the Mexican label N.A.A.F.I. who put out her excellent LP Limerencia two years ago. On Desire Path, she is once again collaborating with a bunch of different artists. The 10 tracks show a deepened exploration of ambient and experimental sounds from different corners of the world. “Caminos del Deseo” e.g. explores a middle-eastern sound over a syncopated beat. The album came out on cassette in April.
