We’re happy to announce that we will be reporting from this year’s Roskilde festival in Denmark. The festival is turning 50 with a programme that has been postponed for two years now. Many of the headliners are artists we’ve seen perform at the festival in the past, like St. Vincent, Dua Lipa, Kelly Lee Owens and Robert Plant but there is also a strong focus on hiphop this year. Tyler the Creator, Post Malone, Megan thee Stallion, H.E.R., Shygirl and a reformed TLC are among the big names.
Personally, I’m looking forward to catching Cate le Bon, Pinkpanthress (pictured), Star Feminine Band, Mitski, Kollaps, Snail Mail and Surfbort.
Among the Swedish and Danish performers to look out for you’ll find Iceage, Ydegirl, Bada and Cobrah. We will soon publish our playlist of bands to watch, but the festival has sadly been long since sold out.
