It’s been more than 10 years since Trish Keenan’s tragic passing and after a full reissue programme from Warp, they’ve now dipped into the odds and ends. A week ago they reissued Mother Is the Milky Way on vinyl for the first time. Originally created as a tour cd, it is now given its rightful release as album. They’ve also gathered the two Microtronics EPs on one LP. Most interesting however, is the double-vinyl release of the band’s Maida Vale Sessions, recorded between 1996 and 2003. This 15-track set is an invaluable document over their musical development and sounds fantastic.
